About WayChess
WayChess is a chess training website at https://waychess.com. We help players turn the habit of solving puzzles into the habit of thinking in games.
Typical tactics trainers teach you to calculate a combination after you already know that a tactic is there. WayChess trains the earlier step: noticing the signals that a tactic might be possible at all.
What we build
- Structured habit training across attacks, undefended pieces, forks, x-rays, and more
- Daily sets so the same checks become automatic
- Statistics so you can see whether the habits stick
- Play versus a bot with habit-training mode
Who it is for
WayChess is for club and online players who already know tactical motifs — forks, pins, hanging pieces — but still miss them in games. You do not need to be a beginner, and you do not need to be a master. You need a way to see the same patterns faster, under the pressure of a real position.
